Arsenio Felix Aguila, age 66 passed away peacefully on May 14, 2015 with his family by his side. Arsenio was born on December 16, 1948 in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Salustiano and Victoria Aguila. He was raised in Butuan City, Philippines and graduated from Agusan High School, class of 1965. He attended college at Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines and earned a Bachelors in Commerce and a major in accounting. He married Hope Cris on May 22, 1977 then moved to the United States in March, 1979 where he started a family of his own and lived the rest of his life.
Arsenio cared deeply about his wife, children, grandchildren, parents, brothers, sisters and extended family. He loved his family above anything else. He always made sure everyone was takencare of; he was dedicated to his family and showed his love through his cooking that he would spend hours preparing. He had a quiet presence when spoken to, but was well versed when he had an opinion, especially when talking about history or current events. He was a man of his word; what he said goes and was respected by all. He was observant and punctual. His wish was that all his family could be together in the United States and found comfort that they were all together.
Arsenio worked at Todd Shipyard as a marine electrician for 29 years until he retired in 2007.
Arsenio is survived by his wife of 38 years, Hope Cris Aguila and their three children, Alexis (Michelle), Christine (Joey) and Arnold (Leana); five grandchildren, Marquel, Mylene, Kylie, Angelo and Julianna; his parents, Salustiano and Victoria Aguila; ten brothers and sisters, Estrella (Joie), Anabelle, Gilda, Edgar (Nieva), Rodrigo (Maria Leny), Eva (Alfredo), Roberto, Ferdinand (May Ann), Randy and Roy and their families.
