Bridget Joan Kidder

Bridget Joan Kidder, 53, of Renton, passed away on January 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving family after a long struggle with a chronic illness. She was born on April 16, 1957 in Seattle, WA. Bridget graduated Bishop Blanchet High in 1976. In 1977, she married John Hunter with whom she raised three wonderful children. In 1991, she remarried to Mark Kidder. In 2000, Bridget was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was an eleven year survivor. Above all, Bridget loved being a mother and grandmother. She also loved horseback riding, gardening, beach walking, rock n’ roll music, and anything Irish.

Bridget was preceded in death by her mother, Bridget Markham, sister, Margaret Sonderland and uncle, John McAuley. She is survived by her children, Gregory Hunter, Christine Ortiz, Jamie Davis, their spouses and her three grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, Melville Wilson, brothers, Michael and Robert Wilson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Greenwood Funeral Home, and the funeral service will be the following day at 1:30pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056.
