I knew Claus when we were teens on Long Island, NY. Our parents were friends, from The Danish Brotherhood social group they enjoyed after we immigrated from Denmark in 1959. I liked Claus very much. The last time I saw Claus was when he was on a 2 week leave from his service in the Marine Corps (1971?) when his parents came to visit. I still think of him.

Claus was very intelligent and had a wealth of knowledge about airplanes.  He was fun to work with and I learned so much from him.  I send my thoughts and prayers to Pearl. Over my life time you have given me some pretty funny and great memories, from calling and playing pranks to being the minister at my wedding. I remember Claus well working with him at Boeing.  Claus was a great guy & I'm saddened to hear about his battle with cancer.

So sorry to hear about Claus losing his battle with cancer he was such a fighter.  He will be missed at Boeing, I met Claus early in my career as a new investigator and he taught us so much on how to become a veteran investigator.  You will be missed but I'm sure you are looking down right now enjoying a beer and a slice of cheese pizza from heaven.

Heart is sad with the passing of Claus, but what memories I'm sure we all had of him (as he always keep a smile on our faces). He always had a joke or something to make me laugh.

Andy and I are going to miss Claus so much. Over the years he has become a part of our family and a good friend. I have so many fun memories of him. His first camping trip with us is one of the best!! He discovered pitch and I made him a grilled cheese sandwich on my grill, he looked at it and said "It has lines on it." The look on his his face will be forever in my memory. I'm going to miss you Big Guy.

I am heartbnroken at the loss of a really great guy to know and work with.
It is terrible that he had to suffer so much with the terrible disease.
Words can't describe how much I know Pearl is hurting - but I am sure that Claus is in a much better, painfree and happy place.

When I remember Claus I have a smile on my face he always kept us laughing here at work and he will be missed so much my sympathy to the family and my thoughts are with you always.

Claus, gonna miss you a lot, your list of dumb rules, your great smile and attitude. It was your Dirty Harry picture that inspired me to hang up my pic of Barney Fife. Gonna leave it there in your honor.

There are only a handful of men that have left a lasting impression in my life. Claus is one of them. The big man's stature, wit and humor are unforgettable. I will continually think of him every time I have pizza for breakfast. He will sincerely be missed and always remembered.

Claus has been a big part of my life for many years, his advise (well most of it) I have taken to heart. He was a soft hearted man that I saw many times.

I had the privilege to work with Claus on the delvery of the Air Europa 737-800 airplanes.  He was preciise, accurate and easy to work. He was veru much liked by Air Europa and they invited him to their home base in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. 

I was going to Spain for configuration discussion on the followup airplanes and Claus joined me and my team.  I did know it before but I discoverd the he was very picky on the food he wants to eat, he didn't try the Spanish food, instead he bought a baggette acheese and cold cuts and made sandwiches for himself.

He will be missed by all who worked with him.
