Danny Lynn Hill Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday March 5, 2016 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Renton, with Pastor Kacey Hahn officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-5:00pm on Friday March 4, 2016 at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home in Renton, where the burial will also take place.

Danny was born in Seattle WA on January 7, 1945 as the 10th of 11 children. He was married to Betty Jean on June 28, 1969; they were married 46 years. Danny served in the US Navy and worked in the grocery industry prior to spending his remaining years as a homemaker and raising his family. He enjoyed travelling, tinkering around the house and spending time with family. He was also actively involved in St. Matthews Lutheran Church.

Danny is survived by his wife, Betty Hill; 3 children, Sena (Tim) Camarata, Danny Jr. (Sarah) Hill and William (Jody) Hill; 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Elissa, Jesse, Casey, Jackson and Jeana; 1 brother Karl; 2 sisters Quincie and Dolly; and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Hill; mother, Reba Hill; sisters Marie, June, Della and Joyce; and brothers Melvin, Clyde and Eugene.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Renton. The family of Danny Lynn Hill Sr. wishes to thank our family and friends for their outpouring of support and prayers.
