Dennis Breznikar passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2019 at the age of 76. Born December 4, 1943 in Cle Elum, Washington he moved to Renton at a young age and graduated from Renton High School in 1962 then went on to Central Washington University.
On March 22, 1969, Dennis married Linda Robbins, whom he met at Central Washington University. They had three daughters and through the years he enjoyed coaching their soccer and softball teams. Dennis began his career at the City of Renton Parks & Recreation Department in 1969 and retired after 35 years.
He lived with Parkinson’s Disease for over 20 years and did his best to stay active by golfing, gardening and walking his dog. He leaves behind his three daughters, Tanya, Kim and Amy and his girlfriend Dianna Wise. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Linda Robbins Breznikar and his parents Tony and Mickey Breznikar.
A memorial service will be held at Maplewood Golf Course in Renton on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NW Chapter for American Parkinson Disease Association.
