Donna Mae Hecker

Donna was preceded in death by her husband (Ronald Hecker) , a granddaughter (Jessica Blue) parents (Merton and Minnie Brush), Sisters (Betty Brush and Elaine Scott). Donna was survived by her daughter (Janette Blue), son in law (David Blue), Grandson (Matthew Blue), nieces (Debi Scott and Cathy Scott) and nephew (Bill Hecker).

Donna was a graduate of Renton High School class of 1953.

Donna married the “Boy next door” Ron, in 1954. They resided in Bellevue, WA for many years then returned to their hometown Renton in 1970.

Donna worked in the Renton School District as the attendance lady at both McKnight and Nelson Middle Schools. Then took her creative side to work at a flower shop in Kent, WA. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker after that planning lots of travel adventures with Ron, going on various cruises and eventually bought a home in Sun City, Arizona to be sunbirds.

After Ron’s death in 1998, Donna went on to live in Issaquah, WA and lived in Providence Point. She enjoyed all the social gatherings that her neighborhood offered. She enjoyed cartoon sketching, water coloring and drawing. A friendly game of pinochle or playing bridge was also a favorite of hers.

Her final resting place is at Greenwood Memorial, Renton WA next to her husband, Ron.
