Doug passed away at the age of 62 on January 1, 2017 with his loving family at his side. He was born September 15, 1954 in Renton, WA and was raised in Tukwila, WA. Doug graduated from Foster HS in 1973 and attended Highline CC. He retired from The Boeing Company after 35 years of service.
Doug truly enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He was a fisherman from childhood, another childhood passion was baseball.
He had traveled to some extent and took pleasure in planning family getaways.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Jo Woods and his brother John Woods. He is survived by his six children, Jamie Kjorsvik (David), Tiffany, Derek, Kevin, Kegan and Meghan, his four grandchildren, Faith Jo, Bailey, Taylor and Ryan and his sister Diane.
