Born January 2, 1933, in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines passed away August 21, 2026, in Renton, Washington at the age of 93.
Edgardo is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Filomena G. Aguilar and by his daughters, Nannette Lape and Rosemarie A. Malilay and husband, Christian. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alfred and Eric Lape and Chris Ian and Marc Rian Malilay and by his sister in the Philippines, Margarita Bayani and her husband Renato.
Edgardo was an optometrist and a watch-repairer in the Philippines. He also had a passion for agriculture. He moved to the United States in 1985, where he worked for the Lighthouse for the Blind.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
