Elmer was born January 20, 1948 In Renton, Wa to Elmer Daniel & Lorraine Mary Morasch. Elmer met his future wife Karen I Weiss in Skyway, Wa they met at the age 13 and 14. On August 8, 1966 Elmer & Karen married in Seattle, Wa. They raised 3 daughters Stacy, Shannon & Shayna as well as 2 sons Scott & Scott-Raymond. He started working at Boeing and worked with this Company for 3 years. He then started carpentry work and building houses with other builders. In 1972 he and his wife started their own business Morasch Home Repair where they remodeled homes. In about 1977 they became K & E Quality Homes where they built spec homes and then started building custom homes for individuals until about 1993 when Elmer became disabled with COPD.
Elmer's favorite hobbies were fishing and restoring his 1951 Chevy. He enjoyed fly tying, bowling, motorcycle riding and camping with his family and friends. He was very caring , loving, and giving. He was also a very dedicated family man who inspired many with all the skills he had. He was a huge inspiration to many young teenagers who he welcomed into his own home to live with his family and himself. Throughout his life he taught these teens life skills, how to fix cars, carpentry work, how to fish, how to drive and taught these young men that despite a disability you could still be a successful man. If he would have known the difference he made in so many people's lives and how much he was loved before he passed he would have been very pleased and proud.
