Essie Marie SCHULAK Essie Marie Schulak, age 75, passed away and into peace on June 28, 2011 at Harborview Medical Center. She was born in Raywick, KY to Edward and Lula Puyear on November 29, 1935. Marie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her most passionate interest was researching her family tree. Marie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Erwin Albert Schulak, her children Janet Walker, Theresa Ralph (Mike), William Bevins, Jr., Patty Owens (Steve), Paula Simmons (Mike), and Lisa Bevins. Her siblings in Kentucky, Esther Bell, Elbert Puyear, Mildred Grimes, Connie Nalley, and Claude Puyear; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Herman Puyear, daughter Darlene Palmer and granddaughter Jennifer McDaniel. Memorial Services will be held 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 12th at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Renton. Special thanks to all the staff in the Neuro ICU at Harborview for their wonderful care and support provided during her last days. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
