Frances Fischer

Frances Marie (Frydenlund) Fischer passed away from cancer on February 10th, 2014 a the Evergreen Hospice Care Center in Kirkland, Washington. Fran was born in Nome, North Dakota on January 19, 1940, the youngest of 7 children. She, her husband (Douglas Fischer from Edgeley, North Dakota), and their small son moved to the Seattle area in May, 1960 after her husband graduated from North Dakota State University and went to work for Boeing. Fran lived with her husband of 56 years, in Renton Washington since 1962. Fran was active in community youth sports and scouting, and also King of Kings Lutheran Church youth, benevolent, and fellowship programs. Fran is survived by her husband, their three children,, Steven (Kathleen), Rick (Jeannette), and daughter Suzanne (John) Hennig, five grandchildren, Jennifer Fischer, Kathryn (Bryan) Bart, Davin Fischer, Jason Hennig, and Cody Hennig, three step great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be at King of Kings Lutheran Church of Renton, Washington on March 1, 2014 at 1 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the King of Kings Youth Group, the ARISE homeless shelter, or the Evergreen Hospice Care Center.
