husband, father, brother and
grandfather, passed away in
Renton on November 5, 2017
at the age of 80. He was an
all-around athlete, playing for
Issaquah High School, University
of Washington and Cheney
Studs. George was honored as a
member of the UW All-Century
Baseball team and is one of
three players in Husky history to
pitch a no-hitter game. He had
a long career with King County
as a forestry appraiser. George
left a legacy of family, love
and friendship that will always
live on and he will be greatly
missed by all who knew him. He
is survived by his wife Carla,
children Gina, Diana, Maria and
John, numerous grandchildren
and extended family.
