My dear brother, Stephen Starkovich, passed away January 25, 2022, five days prior to his 75th birthday. In spite of his many years of having to live with Alzheimer's Disease, through the majority of his struggle, he did not lose his sense of joy for his surroundings, his appreciation of a kind gesture, his sense of fun and humor. Struggling through his challenges, his sweet disposition was very evident and he was loved by many of his caregivers.
He attended St. Anthony's School, Kent Meridian High School, Green River Community College and the University of Washington; he was a member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity. His career was centered in the engineering area, both with Fluke Corporation and retired from The Boeing Company in Everett.
Growing up, he was my leader, teacher and protector, a stellar big brother. He was always a kind and gentle soul.
Steve is preceded in death by our parents, George and Betty. He is survived by his sister, Patrice Starkovich, and his two lovely twin daughters, Kalli Conner and Kami Collette.
