

Born on December 20th, 1948, in Saigon, Vietnam, he was the beloved son of Bà Ngô Thị Tới and Ông Huỳnh Văn Đông, and the cherished grandson of Ông Ngô Văn Nhi and Bà Nguyễn Thị Cang.
Coming of age during a pivotal time in history, Ông Hải graduated from Trường Bộ Binh Thủ Đức in 1970. He served honorably and with deep distinction as a Second Lieutenant in the Republic of Vietnam Air Force, demonstrating courage and a profound commitment to duty.
After establishing his life in the Pacific Northwest, he continued to build on his technical expertise, attending Renton Technical College where he earned an Associate of Applied Science in Machining Technologies. This foundational skill led to a fulfilling 19-year career as a Machinist at The Boeing Company. To his colleagues and friends at Boeing, he was known as a man of great dedication and unwavering kindness.
Beyond his military service and professional career, Ông Hải's true heart belonged to his family and his daily passions. He found profound peace and joy in the meticulous care of his gardens, taking pride in working on and improving his homes. Above all else, his greatest devotion was the time he spent surrounded by his family.
Ông Hải leaves behind a beautiful legacy. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Nguyễn Thị Phúc. His memory will be forever carried forward by his five children: daughters Ngô Thị Thùy Trang and Ngô Thị Thanh Trúc; and sons Ngô Trường Vư, Ngô Trường Ngọc, and Ngô Trường Thịnh. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, who will deeply miss his presence.
