Hannah Helena Volkman went home to the Lord on April 23, 2023, at 5:45am. She was surrounded by people who loved her and passed peacefully. Hannah was 95 at her passing. She is survived by her 4 children, Minnie Trantham of Ellensburg, WA , Beverly Latham of Raymond, WA, Belinda DuPuis-Mack of Renton, WA, and Michael Trantham of Metairie, LA, and her step daughters, Darlene Volkman of Auburn, WA, and Violet Gray of Jamestown, ND. She had 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
Hannah had become a dialysis patient at the age of 93. She went through this 3 times a week without too much complaining. She was a brave lady who fought with everything she had to be with the family that she held so dear to her heart. She always had a wonderful attitude about all she was going through, always with a smile on her face and a kind word for all. She loved spending time with the people she loved. She had a quick wit and loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. If she didn’t have a witty come back to something that someone said, then there was something wrong. Hannah was the best mom, sister, and aunt to all that loved her. She will be sorely missed by us all.
Services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park on May 8th at 1 pm. Services will also be held virtually if you are unable to attend please contact Belinda DuPuis-Mack for that information.
