Harriet was born January 13, 1922, in Sidney Illinois to German-speaking parents. Her parents were, William Krabbe and Anna Gerth.
Harriet was raised on a farm and after the death of her parents, she relocated to Seattle, Washington where she met her husband Harold L. Wood, and was married January 19, 1951. Harriet was a beloved pastor alongside her husband. They started their first church in White Center, then moved to the Rainier Valley area in the 1960s. They pastored Northwest Evangelistic Center which later became Rainier Temple. Rainier Valley Christian school was established under their leadership in the 1980s. Harriet touched many lives thru her ministry of service and her Love of Jesus Christ. She was much loved and cherished by her friends and family.
Harriet was a student of the word of God and faithfully taught under a powerful anointing. She loved the body of Christ, and you would often hear the prophetic voice of God flowing from her spirit as she ministered to the church in Sunday morning worship.
Harriet was faithful in her attendance at the Tabernacle of Praise Church, until her illness prevented her from attending. She loved the word of God. You would see her often dancing and praising God during the worship service. She will be greatly missed by all.
Proceeding her in death is her husband, Harold L. Wood, and her son Greg P. Wood. She leaves behind 2 sons and 1 daughter, Larry D. Wood, Roger M. Wood, and Rachel D. Monte, and a host of grand and great-grandchildren, that she dearly loved.
She is now sitting at the feet of her Father along with her loved ones enjoying the presence of the Lord. And probably keeping the throne room very clean.
