Herbert J Lindberg

Beloved husband, Father, grandfather, Great grandfather. Herbert passed away peacefully in his sleep at his adult family home at the age of 90 on October 30 2025. Herb was born to John and Lea Lindberg and grew up with a younger brother Chuck Lindberg(deceased). After graduating from High School and college, he married Carole Christilaw in 1960. In 1961 they had their first child, Russell, followed by their second child Robert in 1962. They lived most of their married life in Renton, Washington.

Herbert worked as an electrician through IBEW local 46,(as did his father and his son Robert), for 36 years. He enjoyed retirement spending his time traveling, family get togethers, and the occasional cruise. It was important to him to stay busy keeping up his property, mowing, cutting firewood, building, painting and repairing things around the house. He cherished his local friends where they could help each other or just shoot the breeze. He also spent time and effort taking care of his wife Carole in her failing health. It was important to Herb that your work ethic was your personal signature that you put your best foot forward. He strived to make sure his boys would be honorable men and good providers for their families.

Herbert is survived by his sons Russell and Robert, grandchildren Jennifer, Eric, and Derek, great grandchildren Kayden, Zoe, Beckett and Eden.
