Born on February 26, 1941, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Victor Joe Banasky and Ruth Burton Banasky, Howard grew up with a kind, compassionate nature and a strong work ethic. He spent most of his life in the Renton, Washington area, aside from a brief secondment to California to head the sales office for his employer, Chromalox. He traveled the world, first serving as a submariner in the US Navy, and later building Heatcon Composite Systems into a global leader in composite repair solutions and equipment manufacturing over more than 48 years.
In 2009, he met Aiza, the love of his life, whom he later married. Together, they shared 16 years of laughter, partnership, and deep devotion. Howard was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a gentle friend. He cherished life's simple joys—morning coffee in bed, tending to his garden, and reading books with his daughter, Audrey. His warm smile and steady patience brought brightness and comfort to everyone around him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Aiza; his children, Audrey, Caryn (Eric) and Karl (Jamie); and his four grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his generosity, honesty, trust, and respect. Once met, he was never forgotten, and his personal and business legacy will carry on into the future.
