Isaac was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. At age 5, he moved with his family, to Seattle, Washington, and settled in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. There he learned the value of honest hard work. He became a newspaper deliverer at the young age of 11. Isaac prided himself on hard work ethic. In the summertimes, he and some of his siblings, would go strawberry picking in the sweltering heat. Through these experiences at such a young age, Isaac built character, and discipline.
As Isaac grew older he would work in the restaurant industry in various capacities. Here, he learned his way around the kitchen. He loved to cook holiday meals for family. Everything was from scratch, from his cranberry sauce, to his green bean casserole. Isaac cooked with heart and soul! If you had the opportunity to feast one of Isaac's meals you were surely blessed.
Isaac loved his family. He was blessed with many nephews and nieces. He was a kind friend to many, and was abundantly loved by not only his immediate family, but also extended family. He is survived by his mother Rasela Fonoti, and his siblings. His father Falelua Tagoa'i and oldest sister Va'elaa Lang preceded him onto glory.
