It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Michael Bloomfield, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 77. John was born in Seattle, Washington, to Harold and June Bloomfield. John was a dedicated husband to Shirley, his loving wife of 53 years, and a devoted father to April and Michael. He was a wonderful father-in-law to Steve and his future daughter-in-law, Samantha. John was a hardworking man with a career in the banking profession for over 30 years. After retirement, he pursued his passion for baseball by working for the Seattle Mariners. John’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He never met a stranger and always made everyone feel valued and important. A celebration of John’s life will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park & Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM. In John’s honor, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness in his memory.
