I worked with Johnny over the past 5 years, and there was no one more well-liked, respected, and cheerful. He truly embodied the principles that made work productive and fun! His humanity and enthusiasm were such a wonder to work alongside, and he inspired all of us. I don't think I ever shared a coffee or a conversation with him that didn't involve at least one really loud bout of laughter - usually his, and often mine too. He will be missed terribly, but the ripple of his time with us will continue to amplify and inspire. Love and courage to you and yours, my friend.

Johnny and I ran communications for Azure Ops at Microsoft. We spent every workday together for two years. He always made us laugh; surprising us with his wardrobe choices, music, and jokes. I think Johnny was the most universally loved person in the office.

The thing I loved most about Johnny was the way he treated other people. He saw the good in everyone, and welcomed everyone, from the janitor (they were on a first name basis), to the barista, to the CVP, with a warm smile. He was a true gentleman. I will miss our lunches, memes, and laughs.

Johnny, you will be missed terribly, and I promise to do my best to carry out your ways, greeting everyone with a warm smile and working to see the best in everyone. I look forward to meeting you again in Heaven.

Johnny you were the coolest and funniest big cousin around! I love you dearly and will always remember the lessons your life taught: to live life to the fullest, laugh often, and to be kind to others. I love you! 💕

Johnny was such a light. He would stop by my office to chat about everything. His smile and laugh were contagious. Any day I saw Johnny was a good day. He was smart, ambitious and worked hard. I was so glad he hired on as an FTE at Microsoft. I am a better person because I knew him. I hope that the cherished memories of him will help to fill the huge holes in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.

Rest in love Johnny.

No amount of words can fully capture the essence of Johnny. He was “one of a kind” Without a doubt, one of the most genuine, courageous and kindest person that I was privileged to meet in my life - and I will forever be grateful for his friendship over the past 6 years. To know Johnny was to love him. He was very sincere in all his relationships and it was this sincerity and kind nature that drew people to him -myself included.

Even though we met at work, I count him as one of my very best and dearest friends. We shared every joy, pain and laughter - and always protected one another at work.

Johnny - thank you for inspiring me to be a better version of myself everyday. I hope to continue your legacy of sincerity, generosity and kindness - and I am forever grateful for the impact that you had on my life. I thank God everyday that I met you and I will cherish your memory forever.

To the Rosson Family: May the Lord bless and comfort you during this time of grief, and grant us all the strength and grace to get through this difficult time. We have lost an angel amongst humans.

Rest in Peace my forever brother and friend.

Thank you, Johnny for always giving me courage to do the things that put me out of my comfort zone, for always believing in me, and cheering me on. You had such a positive impact on my life - I'll always be grateful to have known you.

Just before Microsoft sent us home for COVID, Jonny stopped by my office because he wanted to discuss his next career move. We chatted every time we crossed paths, which was almost daily at work. He had a broad smile and a gentle spirit. Smart. Courteous. Jovial. His was a gentle soul. The Bible says the fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, patience, peace, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. These describe him exactly. Jonny, I will miss you, but one day we will meet again. Love you, Jonny! Rick

There are honestly too many funny memories with my sister Benny, Johnny, Greg and Richard! We always called Johnny, went to the pool hall, Chinatown, Greg would be DJing, everyone coming to Vancouver to visit or just chilling at home, joking, singing, laughing, sharing stories, he would always say, ”that one right there is the the books!” Johnny you have always been our brother, protector and angel and all of our memories that we have together are in our books!
