He is survived by his two sons, James Day and his wife Melissa, and Bryan Day and his wife Leah, whom reside in Florida, and his sister Deborah Karschner in North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth served in the United States Air Force, achieving rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1975. Ken studied electronics and communication systems, and later excelled making a career as a telecommunication specialist, working for AT&T and Boeing. Ken enjoyed fly fishing, playing acoustic guitar and electric bass, performing in several bands, cooking barbecue, and reading.
Kenneth will be interred at Tahoma National Cemetery.
