

Born in Seattle, Lee was the first New Year's baby of 1947. Raised in Burien by parents Robert and Adele Christopherson, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Peggy Starkovich Christopherson, daughter Sarah Christopherson Willard & son-in-law Jake Willard.
Lee worked at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962 when he was 15 yrs old, then high school summers in Yellowstone National Park as a singing waiter.
He attended Highline College while working as a bellman at the Seattle Airport Hilton, where he met Peggy. They were married in 1973. He started his career at Boeing as a graphic artist and worked there for 25 years. He loved to ski, and was a 25 year member of the Snoqualmie Ski Patrol, earning his National Ski Patrol appointment in 1981. He was an artist and sold paintings at summer art shows around the area. His hobbies included winemaking, golfing, and trying any unusual foods imaginable. After retiring, he sold items on Ebay and became a PowerSeller. He loved to travel, going to Europe with his best friends, and took many trips with his family.
He is also survived by sister-in-law Ilene Antonitsas and her husband Tassos, and mother-in-law Beverly Starkovich.
Memorial celebration will be Saturday, September 3rd from 1:00-3:30 at the Renton Community Center.
