Lyndon Alan Kidwell

Lyndon Alan Kidwell, Mickey to friends and family, passed away March 29, 2024 after his tremendous 7yr battle with brain cancer. He was a true warrior, who faced cancer with a positive attitude. A loving husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. He meant the world to so many people that the list would go on and on. Family and friends will honor him in a quiet home celebration of life on April 6, 2024. He was very talented whether he was woodworking, playing music, or being brilliant on his computers. He started music at a young age, some of his fondest memories were from his time playing in the band Leather Soul. If you were lucky enough, you may have caught him playing on one of his own custom bass guitars. He had a notable career as a software engineer working for United, Bell Helicopter, Microsoft, and then finally Boeing, when he retired in 2017. He could do so many things and he was always happiest doing them for other people to enjoy. Mickey has an adventurous spirit who loved to travel. This time together always created many wonderful memories of road trips and vacations for all of his family members. He made it to all 50 states as well as many other countries around the world. Sharing in those memories will last forever as does our love for him. His unsuspecting wit kept us on our toes and the sly grin is imprinted on us all. He will be missed and leaves a hole where he should be.
