Mai Shim Chan

Ms. Chan Ng Mai Shim was born in 1927 in TaiShan, Guangdong, China. She worked as a seamstress all her life. Her outstanding performance placed her in a team which specialized in making new product prototypes. She was hard-working and thrifty throughout her life. Her house was always clean and tidy. She was mild-mannered and detail-oriented. She dressed fashionably in every occasion. She was kind, reserved, and amiable. After Immigrating to the United States, by the grace of God, she became a devout Christian. She prayed for her family all the time. She retired at the age of 62 and devoted herself to taking care of her children and grandchildren. She took pride in cooking different delicious meals and delicacies for her family. She loved to grow vegetables in the garden. She exercised every day and lived a healthy life. She passed away peacefully at home on June 28, 2021 with her family by her side.
