Maurice Phil Dahlquist

July 28, 1928 – July 27, 2024

Maury Dahlquist, beloved husband of Mary, passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 95 years.

Maury is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary; their five children: Claire, Lori (Brian), Kim, Brian and Erik (Belinda); their five grandchildren: Ann, Sam, Elle, Daniel and Mary, and his brother Jerry (Mona).

Maury was born in Gettysburg, South Dakota, to Finn Svente Dahlquist and Mary Margaret Dahlquist (nee Baum). He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marillyn (Frank).

He was a First Lieutenant pilot in the US Air Force, stationed in Great Falls, Montana. It was there he met Mary, and where their first child was born.

Maury was a pharmacist, and later a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), earning both degrees from the University of Washington.

Maury enjoyed aviation, accordion music, and motorhome travel within the United States and Canada, including Alaska. He enjoyed the Western art of Charles Russell, and fishing.

He was a devout Christian and faithfully attended Bible Study Fellowship.

Burial Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington, with family and close friends attending.
