Michael James Jordan

Michael (Micky) James Jordan

The world lost a shining star on January 5th, 2020. Micky was born at Ft. Ord, CA on 9/11/83 to Jim and Mary Jordan. Micky loved his family and life more than anyone we know. He had a contagious smile and a hug for everyone he met. Micky attended Liberty High School where he played Varsity Baseball. After graduation (2002) he attended Columbia Basin CC where he continued to play baseball until an injury ended his career. After graduation he worked at Newcastle Golf Club, UPS, and went on to find his perfect job as a driver at DHL. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jim and Mary Jordan of Renton, WA, his sister Jamie, her husband and Micky’s best friend, Matt McCotter, and their two boys that his world revolved around, Jordan and Mavryk. He will be forever loved by the love of his life, Alina Miller. He will live on in the hearts of his Grandma, Lee Foreman, Allyn, WA, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Services and Celebration of his life will be held at Newport Presbyterian Church, Bellevue, WA on 1/18/2020 at 1:00 PM.

The family requests attendees bring a picture of Micky and a favorite memory to share. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Micky’s name.

There are too many memories and laughs to list that Mickey left us in Las Vegas. It seemed like it was always his mission to brighten up the room and bring a smile to someone's face. He had a natural impressionable glow towards life and others. My heart and prayers are with you all.

My deepest sympathy to all of Mickey's family. His parents Jim and Mary, his grandmother Lee Foreman and all those that had the privilege of having him in their lives. I am so sorry this beautiful young man is gone.

Oh, Micky, I love you so much and have so many wonderful memories with you. We had such a great time when you all lived in Calif. and I visited. You were so darn cute as a little boy and reminded me so much of your dad when he was that age. You grew up to have the most wonderful personality and such a caring nature. What’s there not to love? There is a hole in my heart that such a vibrant, energetic, loving person can be gone. Rest In Peace my dear Micky.
Love, Grandma Lee

I didn't know this young man or his family, but I have a friend who has been grieving the loss of this young kid who was a friend of hers as well....... It appears this young soul whom was taken far too soon from this world has touched the lives of so many people it's amazing to read things like this about other people I just wanted to say I wish I could have met you in this life we would have been good friends I know that for certain. To his mom and dad and sister and other family I'm sorry for your loss I'd like to ask God or your creator to wrap his loving arms around you and your whole family at this time and carry you through day by day as you grieve the loss of your child you will never stop grieving but what I can say is the process does get easier it never goes away you will always grieve it just becomes easier to get through with each day passing I wish you all well and will pray for comfort and peace for your family love and hugs

I will never forget the times that Micky would come into my office sit down and show me a million and one pictures of Jordan. 💜 One of the last times I saw him he had to show me pics of his newest little nephew Maverick. He loves those boys more then life itself. Micky I’m going to miss running into while you’re out on deliveries, the random phone calls or text messages. Micky you will always hold a special place in my heart. I keep seeing DHL drivers delivering to the apartments I last saw you at on Christmas Eve. Miss you so much already! 😞

Micky, you left us way to soon. I will forever be grateful for all the love, laughter, and living you shared with us. You were my other son, and will always have a special place in my heart. Until we meet again...love Judy.
