Growing up, Michelle was active in her high school tennis club, swim team, and a lifeguard at Franklin Pool in Yakima. One of her greatest accomplishments was completing a marathon in Kona, Hawaii on behalf of her grandmother, Marie, to benefit stroke research. Michelle's love of Hawaii was highlighted by her marriage to Lynn in Maui on August 16th, 2006. She loved their summer trips camping by the beach in Westport, WA, time spent with friends and their families, and every single moment with her daughter, Elsa. Her brilliant smile and infectious laugh will never be forgotten. Michelle is survived by her loving husband Lynn, and daughter Elsa, parents Mike and Pam Bonneville, brother Mike (Linda) Bonneville, nephew Zack Bonneville and niece Paige Bonneville, all of Yakima, WA. Grandmother Dorris Hunziker, Yakima, WA, sister-in-law Maria (Kevin) Bjerken, New Prague, MN, and always surrounded by an incredible group of very special friends. Michelle was a beacon of light, warmth and brilliant humor and was always one of my very favorite staff members and parents in our SAC program. She was such a joy to be around and was an amazing momma to sweet Elsa. She will be missed by so many of us left behind. May God bless her family and friends and may He always keep her close in our hearts and wonderful memories.

Michelle was a constant optimist and full of love and laughter. It is just like her to help others in their lives even after death. I loved her very much and that post-college time with her in Seattle holds a special place in my heart.
