Milanka Miladinovic

Milanka Miladinovic passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 7th, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born in Rakinac , Serbia on June 13 1928, the daughter of Milorad and Danica Maslac. She was twenty two years old when she met the love of her life, Dusan Miladinovic. They married in 1950 and together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage until his passing in 2009. They had two daughters who were her pride and joy Svetlana and Ljiljana. She watched them get married and have families of their own. She was blessed with two grandchildren Douglas (Lester and Svetlana) and Anna (George and Ljiljana). In 1979, when her grandson Douglas was born, she left Serbia and made Renton Washington her home.

Her greatest passion was her family and her biggest joy was being a grandmother. She was involved in taking care of her grandchildren since they were young. She even lived long enough to see and play with her great grandchildren Maksim and Maya. She loved her church and was an active member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church where she cherished her faith and made long lasting friendship.
