was the youngest of seven children. She kept in touch with her childhood friends
throughout the years despite the distance.
Nancy graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Nursing. There she met
and married Gary Kawachi and moved to Seattle where they raised their three children
Kim, Tod and Jody. She enjoyed travelling, knitting, crocheting, collecting angels and
appreciated the crafts of local artisans.
Nancy is survived by her children:
Kimberly Sargent, Tod & Jenny Kawachi, Jody & John Becher
Grandchildren: Christopher Sargent, Kellen Kawachi, Amaya Kawachi and Granddogs: Jackie and Juno
Great-grandchild: Anthony Sargent
Sister: Mary (Lewis) Sam
and many nieces and nephews
