Pearline was born September 5th 1919 in Cannon Mississippi, to her mother Pearl and her father Watt Davis. She was a dedicated family person, and mother to so many generations. Pearline was a leader and our family rock; always putting her family first before herself. She was a champion, and love surrounded her wherever she went. She was a hard worker and never gave up know matter how hard times may have been.
She met a gentleman by the name of Calvin. Pearline and the Rev. Calvin Floyd married. To this blessed union God gave the couple a beautiful daughter Delores Floyd. Not long after she became a widow in 1963. Pearline, too many of us known as “Auntie”, was affectionately known to take on the responsibility of moving family members from Mississippi. She helped in the raising multiple generations, and without her there to be a positive guide; many of us wouldn't be where we are today. She instilled in her family the importance of staying together, loving each other through difficult times, and being independent through focusing on a good education. Pearline worked as a custodian for Hanford Nuclear Plant before she retired around 1987.
Pearline moved with her daughter and her grandchildren Marla and Tyrell Sr. to Seattle Washington in 1989. Pearline was a Christian. She was a faithful member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church. Not long after joining the Rosehill family she became a member of the mother board.
Pearline was loved by so many people. After a full and prosperous 99 years, the lord called her home to be with him. She has now reunited with her mother Pearl, Father Watt, her Siblings Jean, Jesse, and Christine, Husband Calvin and grandson Tyrell Sr.
Pearline leaves behind one Daughter Delores Floyd, 1 Granddaughter Marla Floyd, 2 Great grand Children Ebony Floyd, & Tyrell Floyd Jr. 7 Step Grand Children along with many nieces and nephews.
