Rachaelita Castillo Crelencia, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on September 15, 1950 in Santa Ana, Philippines.
Rachaelita immigrated to the United States on July 23, 1972, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She dedicated over 35 years of her life to working at Hospital Central Services, where her strong work ethic and kind spirit left a lasting impression on those around her.
Faith played an important role in her life and upbringing. In 1968, her father, Fermin Macam, was one of the signatories on the list of attendees of the first gathering of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in San Francisco, California. That legacy of devotion carried through Rachaelita’s life in the way she showed care and support for her family, friends, and those who touched her life.
She is survived by her loving children: Rhea (Ruel), Joshua (Judiet), Mark (Aileen), and Rex (Stuart); her cherished grandchildren: Derik, Alysa (Nick), Savanah, Jack, August, Isaac, and Edison; and her great-granddaughter, Haizlee. She is also survived by her siblings: Fermin Jr., Moises, Jeremiah, Danny, Nanette, and Orlando.
Rachaelita was preceded in death by her parents, Fermin and Revelina Macam, and her siblings: Rebecca, Racquel, Noel, and Zorabel.
Her sweet nature, unwavering love, and constant encouragement touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be remembered with deep love and missed dearly by all who knew her.
