A special message from your Mama2/Tita Gigie”Rafael Vincent Bautista  was  very loving and caring person . As  his  aunt and Mama #2 , I  had the opportunity to spend time with him often . He  stayed w me  for 1 yr when he was in high school. 2001.I would go to Seattle to see him fr time to time or he comes to visit me here in NJ. In  2012 , Rafael  and myself went to Philippines together. We had a wonderful time. He was able to see his old friends there. We will go shopping , dine out , go to pub at night and listen to music We would take train from Mandaluyong to Makati, walked around  even if his gout condition was worsening . He was always happy  . In 2013, Rafael came over to take care of me  after I had my surgery. In  2016 , He was here in NJ again.   For a very short period of time. He joined me in my choir group but didn’t  last long coz he was always in pain and swollen. But he was always there for me . He takes me for my Dr’s  appointment . Helped me at home w some repairs He was a  very good. Cook , so he would cook  if he was feeling better Around month of Sept 2016 , he left for Philippines. And came back to US after one year    In Seattle He communicates w me  often, greeted me on my birthday and I think that was the last time I read from him. A eulogy for RV from his dad, Raul Bautista: “My son, RV was born on the 10th day of February, 1981 at Cardinal Santos Hospital in Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. A wonderful bundle  of joy to his parents, Raul & Venus thus the nickname RV. 
For some reason or another, RV & my path got separated when he was 10 months old & got to meet again 10 years later. Our relationship was not a steady years of living together but a cluster of days, weeks or even a year in Toronto but these were periods of joy, laughter & quality time spent together trying to get to know each other, letting the past be and moving forward. Not forgetting but a lot more on forgiving. RV never once questioned my reason of our separation which we had the occasion to discuss &  never again came out as a topic of our conversation . My son RV never blamed me, never judged me or even complained to me about that separation that unmistakably shaped both our lives. In short, my son loved me unconditionally and I know I will never be able to even get close to match my son’s love & affection for me. I love you my son RV & I will always love you.
I will always remember your smile, mysterious & seemingly naughty at times, your laughter that is very enticing & full of joy, the lustre in your eyes, your singing , dancing & jokes. I will miss you terribly anak . We may not have long periods of living together but the moments we had, I would like to think, were precious & meaningful. It’s still not sinking to us that you’re really gone. Seems like you just went away for vacation.  Wherever you may be, be happy and don’t worry about us. We know you’re always guiding us especially your parents and sister.  Now that you’re reunited with your grandparents, uncles and step-father do enjoy every moment with them. RV, you’ll never be forgotten. Your memories will live on in our hearts. We miss you and love you forever❤️
