Many of us are beneficiaries of Mr. McGee's leadership and educational vision.  His passing is a loss, not only for the people where he lived and served, but also for the educational community at large.

My thoughts and prayers are with your families. The Sidney newspaper had a wonderful article about your father's commitment to education. Our parents relationship with God and support to the church, impacted their friendship while living in Sidney.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your Father.  He is fondly remembered by many of us here in Sidney.

I remember Mr. McGee as the Sidney City Schools Superintendant when I was a student, 1964 to 1977 and my parents( Ora and Mary Tate) always praised all the hard work he did for the betterment of the students. My prayers are with his family at this time.                    Carol Tate Hopkins

I remember Roger as an innovative superintendent of the Sidney City Schools who had an effective management style that worked in both crises and everyday management.  Our current superintendent still refers to Roger as "Mr. McGee."  I salute his life and professional career.
