Roger served in Viet Nam and later at Fort Lewis. Roger loved sports, participating in the company leagues in bowling, softball, and golf, running each at one time or another. He also loved to travel, especially back to Michigan to see his family, sometimes by car and other times by Amtrak. He was able to make the trip twice this year before cancer over took him. He also loved music, singing or humming most of the time, often not knowing he was doing it.

He is also survived by his great grandchildren William and Kloie. Sisters Shirley Arts, Pat Pietzrak, and brothers Buddy, James and John. There are also many nieces and nephews.
