Rosanna "Susan" Magbitang Carpena

Susan was a woman of beauty, strength, kindness, and warmth whose presence brought comfort and joy to everyone who knew her. She was born on May 5, 1958, in the humble town of Bulacan, Philippines, to Ricardo Magbitang and Carmen Sia. She built a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Rolando, and together they raised their three sons, Paulo, Algernon, and Cherwyn. For many years, while Rolando worked abroad to provide for the family, Susan devoted herself to raising their children with unwavering love, patience, and sacrifice. She was the heart of the home and a true example of resilience and selfless devotion.

Susan had a special gift for nurturing life, shown through her love of gardening and her remarkable green thumb. She found joy in spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and cherished moments together. Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she found happiness in participating in church and masonry activities. Above all, Susan’s greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, Kiersten and Enzo. Nothing made her happier than being around them.

On the night of April 7, 2026, Susan peacefully passed away at the age of 67 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the loving embrace of the Lord. Susan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends. Her love, strength, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
