Teruyo Taniguchi Marlow, Terry, a beloved Daughter, Mother and Grandmother, passed away on January 1st, 2011. She was born on January 20th, 1930 in Yamiguchican, Japan, where she became a Registered Nurse. Teruyo came to America in 1959 and married Donald Marlow. She raised 3 children, earned her American Citizenship, and learned to speak English. Teruyo was a vibrant, loving, caring women. She lived every day to the fullest and at 80 years of age, one would think she was in her 20's. She got incredible joy from her grandchildren. She loved watching them play sports, perform in music recitals, and sharing stories about Japan. She also enjoyed many excursions with hers sons and grandchildren and enjoyed her independent, simple life. Teruyo will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Teruyo leaves behind her son Mikeal and his children Mark and Akiko, William and his children Robert, Kylan , Nicolle and Tyler Sipe, and Richard and his children Kelly, Taylor and Sierra. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 7th at 1:30 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home in Renton.
