Thomas James Hokenson, 70 of Tacoma, WA passed away on September 5, 2015 at Tacoma General Hospital.
Tom was born in Renton on July 13, 1945 to Travis and Frances Bell along with his twin, Jerry. Tom and Jerry were the first set of twins born at Renton General Hospital. He attended school in Renton before joining the United States Marine Corps in July 1962.
Tom was married to his beautiful bride Karen Colleen Dearinger on February 26, 1965. They were married 49 years before her passing on March 29, 2014.
Tom is survived by his son, David (Laura), grandchildren Deanna and Adam, Brothers Travis (Kathy), Ted, Jerry (Trudy), and Robert (Cheryl), many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his wife Karen and his parents Leroy and Frances Hokenson.
The funeral service and burial will be held at Noon on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Greenwood Funeral Home. Pastor Chuck Erskine will officiate.
