Trina Lee Tucker, beloved daughter, mother, sister, auntie and friend was born May 6, 1965 in Renton, Washington. She passed away January 17, 2021 at the age of 55 at UW Hospital in Seattle. Trina is survived by her parents, Ernie and Chery Cecchini, son Tucker Paul Oelschlager, brother Jeffrey S. Tucker, niece Chelsea Tucker, nephew Austin Tucker, and many other relatives and friends.
Trina attended schools in the Renton and Maple Valley areas. She graduated from Tahoma High School in 1983, then attended Green River Community College for two years. She worked in the financial and banking industry most of her life and was the Branch Manager of White Center Key Bank at the time of her passing.
Trina volunteered for many organizations, including Big Brothers Golf Tournament in Inglewood for four years, Northwest Harvest Holiday Food Drive for nine years, Fred Hutchison Martindale Guild for four years, Tahoma High School Booster Club for four years, MS Walk, and Relay for Life.
Family and friends were the most important parts of her life. She would do anything to help or please someone, even having someone’s wedding at her lake house.
Trina survived several battles with cancer, first at the age of 17 with ovarian cancer and then Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 42. After her ovarian cancer, she married Tim Oelschlager in August of 1987. In 1990 she surprised everyone and became pregnant and had the Joy of her Life on November 29, 1990, Tucker Paul Oelschlager.
During her life, she experienced many of the things she wanted to do: She rode an elephant, swam with dolphins, hot air balloon, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, President Club trips to five-star resorts, skydiving, shrimping, crabbing at her place in Brinnon. But, most of all, she liked to be at her lake house enjoying the warm sun and watching Tucker and his friends enjoying themselves at the lake.
Every one of you has been touched by Trina in one way or another. Her energy for life, friendship and love will live on in us, and we will always be grateful for the part she played in our lives.
So, what is life?
What is friendship?
What is Love?
TRINA
