Lee was born on February 15th 1933 in Centralia, Washington as the youngest of 4 children, born to the union of her parents, Floyd and Madge Reynolds.
She graduated from Sedro Wooley high, Class of ’51, then became a Secretary in the University District.
At 19 years old, Lee married her first husband, William Richardson and they were blessed with 2 children together – Jeff and Sue.
After the kids got into high school age, Lee went back to work, starting in the Sales Department at the South Center JC Penny’s.
A year after Lee and William divorced, Lee went to a “Parents without Partners” dance, which is where she met Loren Williams.
They were married in 1979 and bought a mobile home together in Auburn’s White River Estates. Lee then went to work as a teller for Seafirst Bank (later becoming Bank of America), which became her profession for over 20 years.
In 2002, her husband retired from Boeing and they started living the “RV lifestyle”. They sold their house, bought a trailer and started traveling the country, staying in different parts of the Northwest and Arizona.
They enjoyed the weather so much in Arizona and made a lot of friends there through their travels, that they sold their trailer and settled down at a mobile home park in Case-Grande, which had been Lee’s home ever since.
Lee was a very warm, loving and genuinely caring person who always saw the good in everybody. Family was her number one priority and she absolutely adored being a grandmother.
Everyone enjoyed the amazing pies and desserts that she made for every meal. As Lee would say, “The meal is not complete, until we’ve had some SWEET!”
Lee Williams touched the hearts of so many people throughout her life and her memory will forever be a blessing to those who had the good fortune to know her.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Madge Reynolds, her siblings Jerry, Velma & Ardell, her step-mother Ersie, her step-sisters Florence & Margaret and her husband of 32 years, Loren.
She’s survived by her children Sue Richardson and Jeff Richardson, her step-children Leslie and Bruce Williams, her grandchildren Ken, Kelly, Tracy, Joel and Luke, plus 7 great grandchildren – Kaitlyn, Emory, Avian, Asher, Ozzie, Violet and Devon.
Lee’s final resting place will be beside her husband, Loren at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washington.
A graveside service will be held there at a later date, once current social restrictions are lifted.
