Virginia C Preston, 87, of Renton, Wa passed away peacefully, with a clear heart, to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021. She was born Dec. 24, 1933 in Danville, VA. In 1954, Virginia met the love of her life, George C Preston. After a 3 month engagement, they married and moved to Washington where they made Renton their home for the past 59 years.
Virginia cherished her role as a wife and mother. Delaying career pursuits until after her daughter’s graduation, she enjoyed 22 years of rewarding work in the Issaquah School District. She was an active member of Bethleham Lutheran Church since 1965. Virginia loved spending time with family, friends, bowling, camping, and watching old movies. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, humor and big smile!
Surviving is her daughter, Sandy Magin and son-in-law, Chip of Bothell. She was predeceased by: her mother, Lena Newton and her husband, George.
