William Alfred Starmer Sr. passed on June 27th 2012 in Valley General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Elizabeth and son William Jr.
Bill was born in Arkansas March 18th 1931. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Germany and Libya. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and a member of the American Transportation Society.
Bill worked at Boeing in Renton, Washington for 40 years in the Traffic Department. He loved his work but loved his Grandchildren even more. He loved to garden with his Grandson and mentioned how proud he was of his Granddaughters constantly.
Visitation is Friday July 6th at 10am at Greenwood Memorial in Renton. Services are at noon.
The family asks that a donation to the SPCA be made in Bill's name.
