

Died August 16, 2023, Puyallup, Washington.
Predeceased by son Douglas, parents Leo and Lillie Webster, brothers Louis (Don), Norman, Vernon, Darrell, James, David, and sister Verta. Survived by wife Gail, of 67 years, sons Gary of Tacoma, Bryant of California, and Kevin of Renton, sisters Melvina and Gwen of Utah, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Bill Graduated from Renton high School in 1955 where he also met his wife Gail and played on the football and track teams. He entered the United States Air Force after graduating and served as a radio operator and loadmaster on C-97's from 1955-1959 at Travis AFB. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Achievement. Bill and Gail moved back to Renton in 1959 and started raising their family. He worked in lumber and hardware sales for 40 years and retired from Seattle Lumber in 2000.
Bill enjoyed fishing, golf, coaching boys' baseball, and gardening. He spent numerous years volunteering for the Cascade Vista Athletic Club and became the President for many years. He attended Kent Covenant Church
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Better Place Puyallup for their loving care of Bill.
A memorial will be held at the Kent COvenant Church in Kent on August 24th, from 11:30 to 1:00 pm.
