Cheryl L. Berst

Cheryl Berst, age 68, of Rhinelander and formerly of Mosinee died Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Mary’s hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 5, 1945 to William and Mildred (Dales) Jensen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cheryl worked for the Marathon County Aging and Disability Resource Center until her retirement in June of 2007. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, camping, knitting and crocheting - especially slippers. Cheryl was an avid Packer fan. She loved spending time with family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her children; Sheri (Roger Recha) Meyers, Terri (Grant Wilmot) Lange, Michelle (Dennis) Narlock and Mike (Megan May) Cook, her two brothers, Douglas (Jean) and Gregg Jensen, eight grandchildren, two great – grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special friend, John Kintop.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, William and Terry and husband, Bob Berst.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00am at Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of service. A memorial has been established in Cheryl’s name and may be directed to her family. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
