
Florence “Tootsie” Lambert (nee Basler), age 94, of Starks, died Monday October 21, 2013, at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born November 10, 1918 to William and Florence (Willis) Basler in Townsend, Wisconsin. On April 9, 1936 she married Ralph Lambert. They moved to Rhinelander, Wisconsin, where she lived for over 65 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, crochet, word search puzzles, and most of all loved her family.
Florence is survived by her children Marion (Bill) Belongia of Starks, Ralph James “Jim” (Beverly) Lambert of Sugar Camp, Thomas (Judy) Lambert of Sugar Camp, John (Nora) Lambert of Rhinelander, Mary Ellen (David) Weyers of Tomahawk, and Helen Johnson of Rhinelander; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She is preceded death by her parents, her husband Ralph, and 7 brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 12:30 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Tom Thakadipuram. Visitation will be Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm and Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 10:30 am till 12:15pm.
