Mildred "Millie" Krueger

Mildred “Millie” Krueger, age 96, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born April 1, 1917 to Anton and Catherine (Zimmer) Theine in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Millie married Russell Krueger on June 19, 1940 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. They moved to Rhinelander from Menomonee Falls in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary’s and St. Anthony’s Catholic Churches. Millie was an avid card player and bowler.

Millie is survived by her sons; Daniel and (Penny) of Rhinelander and Russell (Barbara) of New Berlin, WI, her six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Florence Ditcheit of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her 3 brothers and a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11:30am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church ~ St. Mary’s site with Father Jim Hoffman officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Menomonee Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday at the church.
