Stella M. Schulstrom

Stella Mary Schulstrom, age 97, died, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Country Terrace assisted living. She was born January 11, 1916 to Matthew and Stella (Shaltis) Arcimas in Cicero, Illinois. Stella married William Schulstrom in 1935. She was a life member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and was involved in the Rosary Society. Stella was a member of the Fireman auxiliary. She loved spending time in her gardens, both flower and vegetable. Stella enjoyed reading, go to the library, camping trips and traveling to Florida to spend time with family.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Dennis) Fisher, her daughter in law, Susan Schulstrom, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her parents and a son, Tom.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 1:00pm at Nativity of Our Lord ~ St. Joseph site with Deacon Mike Harvey Officiating. Inurnment will be at Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home, 715-365-4343 is assisting the family with arrangements.
