Vera A. Jefcik

Vera A. Jefcik, age 90, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at Friendly Village Nursing Home. She was born July 18, 1923 to John and Angeline (Durand) Schultz in Rhinelander. Vera graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1941. She married Edwin Jefick on May 8, 1948. Vera worked as a secretary for many different places, retiring in 1992.

Vera is survived by her children; Ronald (Mary) of DeKalb, IL, Dale Jefcik of Rhinelander, and Nanette Gritzmacher of Chippewa Falls, WI, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a sister Delia DiGiacomo.

She was proceded in death by her husband, Edwin, her parents, two brothers, David and Douglas and two sisters, Mae Delaschmidt and Leona Zoncki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church with Father Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Visitation will be at 10:30 AM until the time of service.
