Raised in Odessa, Texas, Alisha graduated from Permian High School in 1992. From an early age, her greatest joy and purpose came from the people she loved. Family was the center of her world, and she devoted her life to caring for them in countless quiet, generous ways.
Known affectionately as “Lishy Bessie,” Alisha was the dependable and caring heart of her family. Her love extended to her two sisters, two brothers, 10 nieces, 11 nephews, and extended family, each of whom she cherished deeply. She especially held a tender, steadfast bond with her mother, La-Ketta, for whom she was a constant source of companionship and care.
Alisha’s life was defined not by grand gestures, but by everyday devotion: the calls, the visits, the shared meals, the way she listened, and the way she celebrated even the smallest victories of those she loved. She made every person in her family feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Alisha somehow always knew the latest happenings, the real story behind the story, and was the first to break the story. It wasn’t just conversation; it was her way of keeping her family close, protecting relationships, and making sure no one ever felt out of the loop or alone.
Alisha will join her father, Bill Williams, and her eldest brother, Billy Kerwin Williams, in Heaven—reunited after a long-awaited embrace.
Her family and friends will always remember Alisha as a gentle soul whose love shaped the people around her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts she nurtured, the memories she created, and the unwavering devotion she gave so freely.
