Angelina Carros

Born June 5, 1931 in New Providence, New Jersey, and went to be with The Lord on August 15, 2010, The Feast of The Assumption, in Dallas, Texas.

A graduate of Julia Richmond High School, Angelina met her beloved husband of 53 years, George Carros, in New York City in 1948 at age 16. They married February 23, 1957 in St. Raphael Catholic Church in New York.

Angelina was most dedicated to her family. She was always involved in her children’s activities, such as music, sports, and Boy and Girl Scouts. Her children started and ended each day with a smile, hug, and a kiss from their Mom. Angelina was also devoted to the church, avidly participating in various volunteer and fundraising endeavors.

Angelina is lovingly survived by her husband, George; children, Anna, John, and Nancy; grandchildren, Micheal, George, John, Margaret, James, and Angelina; sisters, Marguerite, Antoinette, and Edith; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Vigil Service at 8:00 pm, at Sparkman Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 19, at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd, Richardson 75081, and will be presided over by Msgr. Don Fischer.
